Bayside Tambor Wins Award: Will Ocean Whisper Be Next?

Award-Winning Developer Starts New Costa Rica Project

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica - Jan. 9, 2007 - In a year when best property nominees dotted the landscape throughout the world, only one in the country of Costa Rica - Bayside Tambor - stood out enough to take home the industry’s top honor.

The Nicoya Peninsula beachfront villas, located within the world-renowned Los Delfines Golf & Country Club, won a four-star award at the 13th annual International Property Awards in London.

It was the second consecutive IPA prize for Riverside Developers, the visionaries behind Bayside Tambor. The Costa Rican company, headed by Jerry and Joshua ten Brink, won a Best Development four-star award in 2005 for Riverside Condominiums in Escazu.

The International Property Awards are referred to as the “Oscars of the industry,” where more than 500 property professionals representing 45 countries gathered in early November to mark the occasion at London’s Grosvenor Square.

“The recognition for Bayside Tambor, coming on the heels of last year’s award for Riverside, further demonstrates that our properties are second-to-none,” said Joshua ten Brink, general manager of Riverside Developers. “It’s an honor to be the lone developer in Costa Rica to win two straight awards from the IPA, and we’re confident that our next project, Ocean Whisper, will be recognized as well.”

Ocean Whisper will be coming from a fine pedigree. Riverside Condos won over the IPA judges with its location and value. Bayside Tambor wowed them with amenities and beach-front appeal. Now, Ocean Whisper hits the scene and will become a leading contender for a 2007 IPA award.

Also set within the grounds of Los Delfines, Ocean Whisper is a condominium hotel featuring state-of-the-art one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with panoramic Pacific views in a secure, gated community.
